Georgette is a transparent, light, and matte-finished crêpe material named after the French dressmaker from the early 1900s, Georgette de la Plante. Initially crafted from silk, Georgette is now produced using highly twisted threads. Its distinctive wrinkled texture is achieved by alternating S- and Z-twist threads in both the lengthwise (warp) and crosswise (weft) directions.

All Aleza clothing items have beautiful hand embroidery so we encourage your items to be either hand washed or placed inside a clothing wash bag before a cool and gentle washing machine cycle.

If your item is damaged due to incorrect care instructions, we are unable to accept this back as a faulty item.

Aleza clothing has been designed with European sizing therefore, we have provided a standard European measurement size chart for easier item selection. Each item also includes a detailed description with multiple pictures highlighting the design fit. If you require more assistance or advice, simply email as at info@aleza.com.au and we will be happy to help.

We do not offer exchanges but we welcome you to return your item(s) by mail in accordance with our Return Policy by using our online returns portal and repurchasing any available item(s) on our site.

We completely understand that sometimes an item may just not be right for you, or fit exactly right. To return an item, please visit our shipping and returns section for further explanation.

Unfortunately, you are unable to change an order once it has been placed and paid for however, if you have made a mistake with your order, please contact us immediately for your credit card to be fully reimbursed and to prevent the order from getting shipped.

Sale items are those that have been reduced from their original full priced amount. Please make your selection carefully as they are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Your online orders will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. You will receive confirmation that your order is on its way along with tracking information. We use Australia Post-Parcel Post for all deliveries.
